1 pool and 40+ dives drives the theme of lifting ideas in this anthem video for Microsoft’s Azure IoT.
Special thanks to Ashley Wright for her kick-ass dives and positive vibes during the day. Co-directed by Billy Restey and myself. Cinematography by Drew Hisey.
My only regret is not taking a jump myself.
I had the pleasure to co-direct these whimsical spots with my pal Billy Restey and was shot by Drew Hisey. This was a collaboration between DYSTNCT and LUSTRE in tandem with COLE & WEBER. Good times were had, heads were also had.
Co-Directed with LUSTRE’s Cameron Campbell we tromped around the landscape of eastern Washington with Thunderpussy in search for the badlands. It was an intense production with packed days impossibly executed with a group of dedicated (and very patient) people. WE MADE A FIRE TORNADO.

Developing this idea for CISCO was an amazing field trip into the world of cyber crime. It humbles me to think about how vulnerable we are and that safety is more or less an illusion; or at least dependent on another’s willingness to ignore you. Make sure you change those passwords people! Here’s a podcast episode of REPLY ALL to dig a little deeper.
Working with local compost company Cedar Grove was great! This anthem piece was creative directed by yours truly under the LUSTRE banner. We collectively developed the look and world as we explored the roots of this Seattle legacy company. Notable animation badassery: Luke Shea.
Two dudes, 54 hours, no sleep, and plenty of weird. This piece was a practice of stamina. It also happened to be a perfect way to explore various styles and techniques with little pressure. Luke Shea is the man.
